Cuthbert Trousers

Our relaxed, cropped wide-leg trousers are an easy, slouchy style with a casual feel, taking inspiration from our Prairie trousers from a few seasons ago.

Made from beautiful European linen, they come in two colourways: a denim blue linen/wool  and a sandstone linen. The loose, wide-leg shape is designed for comfort, with an pull on waist, side pockets and large patch pockets at the back.

A seam across the knee adds to their relaxed character, while the slightly stepped hem is shorter at the front and two centimetres longer at the back. The cropped length works particularly well on petite frames, too.

Easy to wear with a simple top or a chunky knit, the Cuthbert trousers are also a lovely match for our Ascent top, with its coordinating fabric sleeves. Wear them together as a set or mix them with pieces already in your wardrobe.

Care

Denim blue linen/wool 

Hand wash in cold water. Use a gentle detergent, avoid rubbing or wringing, and reshape while damp. Dry naturally.

Designed and constructed in England, Pilgrimage is the new collection from The Make Shed

Pilgrimage is a collection inspired by my love of walking — by the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other and giving yourself a little space to think.

It’s about slowing down, getting back to basics and finding a bit of peace and perspective along the way. We’ve used beautiful natural fabrics, British wool, textured yarns and our own hand-designed linen/wool mix, with pieces designed to be lived in, layered and worn for years.

There’s something quite grounding about making clothes slowly and thoughtfully, and that’s very much at the heart of this collection.
