Our relaxed, panelled skirt is an easy, everyday piece with a lovely fluid shape and thoughtful details.

Made in three beautiful fabrics — a soft British wool, cotton and cashmere blend, our textured linen, designed by us and exclusively made for the Make Shed, and a striped linen and wool blend — it’s fully lined and designed to pull on with ease. The signature flat front creates a clean shape at the waist, while the panelled construction gives the skirt a lovely flow as you move.

Large patch pockets at the back are balanced by a deep, relaxed front pocket, adding to its laid-back character. Finishing at the lower calf, it looks great worn with a chunky knit and boots, or paired with the matching Seeker blazer for a relaxed take on a suit.

An easy, versatile piece with just the right amount of character, designed to be worn and loved season after season.

Designed and constructed in England, Pilgrimage is the new collection from The Make Shed

Pilgrimage is a collection inspired by my love of walking — by the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other and giving yourself a little space to think.

It’s about slowing down, getting back to basics and finding a bit of peace and perspective along the way. We’ve used beautiful natural fabrics, British wool, textured yarns and our own hand-designed linen/wool mix, with pieces designed to be lived in, layered and worn for years.

There’s something quite grounding about making clothes slowly and thoughtfully, and that’s very much at the heart of this collection.
