Seeker Tie / Scarf

A playful take on a classic tie, the Seeker Tie / Scarf is designed to be worn loosely, somewhere between a tie and a scarf. With a wider, tapered end at both sides, it has a relaxed, slightly unconventional feel — an easy way to add a little something extra to an outfit.

Made in the same three beautiful fabrics as our Seeker skirt — Burnt Umber linen, Houndstooth British wool and a striped linen  — it works beautifully with the matching pieces or worn simply with a favourite shirt, knit or jacket.

Not a formal tie, but an accessory to play with. Wear it loosely knotted, draped around the neck or however feels right.

Designed and constructed in England, Pilgrimage is the new collection from The Make Shed

Pilgrimage is a collection inspired by my love of walking — by the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other and giving yourself a little space to think.

It’s about slowing down, getting back to basics and finding a bit of peace and perspective along the way. We’ve used beautiful natural fabrics, British wool, textured yarns and our own hand-designed linen/wool mix, with pieces designed to be lived in, layered and worn for years.

There’s something quite grounding about making clothes slowly and thoughtfully, and that’s very much at the heart of this collection.
